At the Ball State baseball game April 23, Ball Diamond at First Merchants Ballpark Complex will finally receive its official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Head coach Rich Maloney said he expects a crowded stadium for the event, which coincides with Ball State Athletics’ Spring Ball Saturday.
“I suspect this will be the biggest crowd that we’ve had since I’ve been here,” he said. “I’d be disappointed if it wasn’t.”
Fans that attend will be able to see the Mid-American Conference West Division-leading Cardinals (23-15, 9-3 MAC) take on the Bowling Green State University Falcons (14-23, 4-8 MAC).
Ball State enters the series, which kicks off April 22 at 3 p.
