MUNCIE, Ind. –The Ball State golf teams now have a facility they can call their own. The Earl Yestingsmeier Golf Center dedication ceremony was held Saturday morning with nearly 200 supporters, donors, former players and family members in attendance.
The Yestingsmeier Golf Center, which provides dedicated space for men's and women's golf, is situated along Bethel Avenue on the north side of campus between the Ball State Alumni Center and Northside Middle School. The 6,400-square-foot facility includes a 20-by-20-foot golfing simulator to analyze the athletes' flight of the golf ball, a 2,200-square-foot putting green and chipping area, club repair room, and a 20-by-40-foot area with four hitting bays and putting labs.
