Brittany Kelly, a former Ball State women's golf standout and one of the top playing and teaching PGA assistant professionals in the country, passed away on Tuesday (Aug. 31). She was 32 years old.
"We are profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of Brittany Kelly," Ball State women's golf head coach Katherine Mowat said. "Her impact on not only our program, but on the game of golf in the state of Indiana and the country is immeasurable. She was a fierce competitor who would never back down from a challenge, all the while being one of the most gracious teachers and promoters of the game.
