MUNCIE, Ind. — The Ball State football team emerged from National Signing Day with the 10th best class in the Mid-American Conference, according to 247Sports.
The Cardinals had the sixth-best class after signing 17 to letters of intent on Early Signing Day in December, but they added only two more players Wednesday and dropped in the rankings. Ball State had 10 3-star recruits, tied for ninth-most in the MAC.
Ball State added Chandler Crite, a defensive back from Lebanon, Tennessee, and Walter Fletcher, a graduate transfer from Division II Edinboro University.
