MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State hosts Western Michigan for some Tuesday night MACtion.

It feels like November. It is 28 degrees just before kickoff with a windchill of 19 degrees.

Drew Plitt is making his second straight start at quarterback in place of injured starter Riley Neal. James Gilbert is back, but he is not starting.

Inside linebacker Jacob White, who was questionable with an ankle injury, is playing. Nose tackle Chris Crumb is also back after missing the Toledo game. Caleb Huntley, Kaleb Slaven, Lamar Anderson and Mitch Larsen are out.
