MUNCIE, Ind. — There's an opportunity on Ball State's football teams that seems more available than it has in years.
For the past few seasons, partially due to many players opting in to take an extra year due to COVID-19, many of the same names have been mainstays on both sides of the ball.
But with 37 players who were on last year's roster who have either graduated or transferred, there are starting positions up for grabs across the board. And, as Ball State continues spring practice, there are players who are looking to take advantage of the opportunity presented to them.
