MUNCIE, Ind. — Mike Neu is excited. He’s optimistic. He’s eager.
Ball State football's first fall camp practice is Friday, opening the doors to the 2019 season, the fourth year of the coach Neu era. The Cardinals have yet to realize the success Neu, offensive coordinator Joey Lynch and more would have liked to attain. They’ve gone 10-26 the past three years and won four Mid-American Conference games.
But now Neu and his staff have a solid base of recruiting classes. They don’t feel they’ll be plagued by the same depth issues that hampered the team the past two seasons.
