MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State has two things left to play for in its final home game of 2018: Pride and the future.
As the Cardinals (3-7, 2-4 MAC) host Western Michigan (6-4, 4-2) at 6 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN2, here are three things to watch:
1. Gilbert is back; Neal is out
The Cardinals will get James Gilbert back, but he will not be the starter. Malik Dunner will start and get the most reps, and redshirt freshman walk-on Will Jones is also expected to work ahead of Gilbert.
Gilbert sat out last game against Toledo with what was called a back injury.
