MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State football received an early Christmas gift. The Mid-American Conference and Ball State Athletics announced the Cardinals (6-6, 4-4 MAC) will play Georgia State (7-5, 6-2 Sun Belt) in the TaxAct Camellia Bowl on Christmas Day in Montgomery, Alabama.
This is just the third time in program history that the Cardinals have made back-to-back bowl games. The other two instances were in 2007-8 and 2012-13.
