MUNCIE, Ind. — For the first time since 2013, Ball State football is going to a bowl game.
The Mid-American Conference announced on Sunday that BSU (6-1) will be playing on Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. in the Arizona Bowl. The Cardinals will face Mountain West Conference champion San Jose State (7-0) in Tucson, Arizona. The game will be televised on CBS.
“I would like to commend our bowl partners for putting together such compelling matchups,” MAC Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher said in a MAC release. “Both bowl games are fantastic rewards for two teams that have had such outstanding seasons.
