MUNCIE — That last loss, it hurt.
Ball State folded in a first-round game of the Mid-American Conference on its home court, losing to a lower-seeded Miami team. It could have been the end, that loss. It could have been the last game for seniors Jeremiah Davis, Nate Wells, Bik Gill and Bo Calhoun.
After accepting a bid to the play in the CollegeInsider.Com Tournament (CIT) on Thursday, though, the Cardinals have a chance to numb the lingering sting of defeat.
“It is great that we’ll get an outlet where we can vent that frustration,” head coach James Whitford said.
