MUNCIE, Ind. — Time is running out on what was supposed to be James Whitford's best team in his six seasons at Ball State.
With five MAC games to go, Ball State sits in a tie for ninth place. For a team expected to finish near the top of the league and contend for a conference title, it's been a disappointing season. And the biggest reason is the little things. They have added up in a big way and changed the narrative of this season.
Take, for example, Tuesday's 69-66 loss at Miami.
