MUNCIE, Ind. — When it’s not going your way, it’s not going your way. And boy, it’s really not going Ball State’s way right now.
The Cardinals were visibly frustrated – and judging by the replays, rightfully so – at several calls that led to a crushing 83-80 loss to visiting Kent State on Saturday at Worthen Arena. Ball State’s Tayler Persons and assistant coach Jason Grunkemeyer both had to be restrained by the coaching staff as the officials left the floor.
Ball State led 80-79, and Kyle Mallers was trapped in the corner.
