CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the second time in the last three weeks, the Ball State baseball team took home both the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week awards. Junior first baseman Caleb Stayton was tabbed the Player of the Week while junior left-handed pitcher Kevin Marnon earned Pitcher of the Week accolades.
Stayton, hailing from Goshen, Indiana, tied a career high with six RBIs in the 21-1 win over Western Michigan on April 10. In game one of the Sunday doubleheader, Stayton went 5-for-6 at the plate, which included two doubles and his first career triple.
