MUNCIE, Ind. — The Ball State University Board of Trustees approved contract extensions for Ball State athletic director Beth Goetz and four of the Cardinals' athletic coaches — including football coach Mike Neu and men's basketball coach James Whitford — during a special meeting on Thursday, July 1.
Women's basketball coach Brady Sallee and baseball coach Rich Maloney also received new deals, and the contract for new men's volleyball coach Donan Cruz was approved.
"Our student-athletes, coaches and athletic department employees have brought us great pride and positive attention — both on and off the field," BSU Board of Trustees Chair Renae Conley said in a press release.
