Gavin Rogers walked into Minute Maid Park in Houston on Monday and the first person he saw was Chris Berman, the longtime ESPN anchor. Rogers, a 2012 Yorktown graduate, had watched the "Super Bowl Opening Night" on TV for years – and really anything involving the NFL or football – and now here he was, a 22-year-old surrounded by some of the biggest NFL players and analysts.
He spoke for several minutes with Sage Steele, an ESPN anchor who went to Indiana University. He saw Guillermo from "Jimmy Kimmel Live," LaDanian Tomlinson and Cooper Manning. It was eye-opening and overwhelming, and he wasn’t even the one getting the questions.
