MUNCIE, Ind. — When Bryce Cosby became a part of the Ball State football program as a freshman, he heard from coaches and more about what made the Cardinals’ 2008 team as special as it was.
Cosby, now a senior safety at BSU, learned how more than a decade ago that group was able to reach the Mid-American Conference championship game — something no Ball State team had accomplished since until Cosby and his teammates did it this year. He tried, even as young as he was early on, to help instill those elements in the Cardinals’ locker room.
