CLEVELAND, Ohio- Juniors Lucas Andersen and Andrew Stutz of the Ball State men's tennis team have been named to the 2016 Academic-All-Mid-American Conference Team, as announced by the league office. This is the second for Andersen and first for Stutz.
Andersen, a biology major, owns a 3.75 GPA. He received All-MAC First Team honors and shared MAC Men's Tennis Co-Player of the Year honors, with Stjepan Sisko of Toledo. Andersen becomes only the seventh Cardinal in program history to receive MAC Player of the Year honors since it started in 1997. The last time Ball State had a player receive the honor was Eduardo Pavia in 2009-10.
