NEW CASTLE, Ind. — The fans who flocked to New Castle Fieldhouse to watch the senior boys and girls Indiana All-Stars play their junior counterparts cheered for each player introduced.
They cheered for Miss Basketball Jorie Allen of Bedford North Lawrence and Mr. Basketball Trayce Jackson-Davis of Center Grove. They cheered for future Indiana Hoosiers, Purdue Boilermakers and more. They cheered for the coaches tasked with guiding these four talented groups.
But the three loudest ovations honored three local talents — Cameron Tabor, Luke Bumbalough and Mason Gillis. All three starred for the New Castle Trojans during their high school careers, Tabor for the girls and Bumbalough and Gillis for the boys.
