Muncie, Ind. -- It's become an annual event for Ball State baseball. Every year at the end of December the Cardinals find their worst Christmas sweaters, decorate their outfits with Christmas stockings or just wear a winter themed onsie...then they lift heavy weight. In fact, they lift the most weight in Ball State baseball history.
After a full fall semester of lifting, most of the time at 5am, the Cardinals blew off some steam this month in their final lift of 2016 by getting dressed up and hitting their max squats. The day was highlighted by senior left-handed pitcher Kevin Marnon hitting a 515-pound squat, a record for a Ball State baseball player.
