CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ball State sophomore forward Thelma Dis Agustsdottir (Keflavik, Iceland) has earned Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career.
Agustsdottir averaged 17.0 points per contest in MAC action last week while shooting 68 percent from the field (13-of-19) and 70 percent from the 3-point line (7-of-10). She scored a career-high 26 points Saturday at Buffalo, helping the Cardinals to a 69-58 victory.
Agustsdottir shot a staggering 76 percent from the field (10-of-13) and 85 percent from behind the arc (6-of-7) against the Bulls. She also pulled down seven rebounds and handed out two assists, as the Cardinals extended their winning streak to four games.
