MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's basketball team welcomes Thelma Dis Agustsdottir, a forward from Reykanesbaer, Iceland to join the Cardinals during the 2018-19 season as announced by head coach Brady Sallee Friday.
Agustsdottir joins previously signees; guard Anna Clephane (Taylor Mill, Ky./Scott), forward Blake Smith (Carmel, Ind./Carmel), guard Gabriella Smith (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) and guard Abi Haynes (Vincennes, Ind./Lincoln).
Agustdottir, a 6-0 forward who played for Keflavik in the Icelandic Dominos League, averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists this past season. Keflavik made it to the playoffs where Agustdottir averaged 20 points per contest, helping her team advance to the semifinals.
