MUNCIE, Ind. — At Ball State’s spring football game last Saturday, there’s one player who is bouncing around unlike the others. He’s on the sideline chatting up Mike Neu and Anthony Winbush. After the game, he’s leading the team in the fight song at midfield, rocking a backwards hat and sunglasses.
It’s been a little over two months since Trey Uetrecht probably should have died in a one-car accident, but he is grinning so much that it’s almost as if it’s permanently frozen on his 6-foot-1, 225-pound frame.
When Trey was finally healthy enough to leave the hospital, Trey’s dad, Dan, told him, "Let’s do something fun.
