BLOOMINGTON – Five months later, most of the décor inside the office belonging to Indiana's football coach hasn’t changed.
The leather couch and chairs still sit in the middle of the expansive room, overlooking the Memorial Stadium field. The desk is basically in the same place. But for a few replica helmets — Lambuth, Ole Miss and South Florida among them — you’d be hard pressed to find much difference between the way the new coach keeps his office, and the way the old one did.
But for Tom Allen, the differences between defensive coordinator, which he was a year ago, and head coach, which he is now, are something with which he has still come to terms.
