YORKTOWN, Ind. — It would be easy for Yorktown's volleyball team to hang their hats on, or at least talk about, their previous success.
After all, the Tigers have been the most dominant volleyball team in the state over at least the past three seasons. Since 2018, Yorktown has gone undefeated twice, won two state titles in Class 4A (as a Class 3A school, nonetheless) and boasts a 90-2 overall record.
But that success doesn't just magically come as a result of putting on a Yorktown jersey. Head coach Stephanie Bloom, who's now in her 14th season leading the Tigers, made that point clear this summer.
