MUNCIE, Ind. — "Five. Four. Three. Two. One!"
There were a handful of fans who stood outside of Yorktown's locker room on the southeast side of Ball Field, counting down with excitement as the intercounty game between Muncie Central and Yorktown was getting ready to restart.
For nearly two hours, both teams' players and coaches sat in the sweltering concrete locker rooms underneath the Bearcats' home stands because of a lightning delay.
Then came another delay. And another.

The scoreboard reset over and over to the 30 minutes teams must wait until returning to play after lightning is spotted in the area.
