MUNCIE, Ind. — Earlier this year, Addie Chester started thinking about her college decision. The 2019-20 Gatorade Indiana Girls Soccer Player of the Year knew that, wherever she was going to play at the next level, she wanted to be close to home.
After verbally committing to Penn State following her freshman year, the Delta rising junior began thinking more about the distance between Muncie and State College, Pennsylvania.
And on June 15, the day when Division I women's soccer coaches were allowed to begin communicating with athletes again via phone, email and social media, Chester was contacted by the coaching staff at Louisville.
