MUNCIE, Ind. — Preparing for its second straight bowl game, Ball State football is in a position in which only two other teams in program history ever have been. This year's team, which already made history in 2020, has a chance to do something no team in program history has done before.
The Cardinals (6-6) reached the Camellia Bowl a year after winning the Arizona Bowl, their first bowl victory in program history. Ball State will play Georgia State (7-5), a team that's won six of its last seven games, on Christmas Day.
Ball State's road to bowl eligibility didn't come without its share of up-and-down moments, however.
