YORKTOWN, Ind. — It’s 10:30 a.m. and the building has been bustling for hours.
Shoes squeak along the floor. Hands smack volleyballs over nets. Instructors shout commands. Another Munciana Volleyball camp means throngs of budding athletes have flocked to the organization’s gym at the Yorktown Sports Complex. National championship banners line the walls around them, symbols of the history they could one day replicate.
“One, two, three, champions!” they shout before a break. The colors of their shirts vary widely, from orange to green to pink and more, and “Munciana” is printed on the vast majority of them.
