At the beginning of the NCAA women's volleyball tournament, there was the possibility that Kelly Sheffield, coach of No. 1 Wisconsin, and Craig Skinner, coach of No. 2 Kentucky, could meet in the National Championship.
But both Sheffield and Skinner know all too well how hard it is for any team — even if you're leading one of the most elite teams in the nation — to make it that far. Between all the years of coaching experience and dozens of combined tournament appearances, they've only faced each other a handful of times.
