5 things to watch as Ball State football hosts unbeaten Army in final non-conference game

MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State (1-3) closes out its non-conference slate against Army (4-0) Saturday at 5 p.m. at Scheumann Stadium.

Four weeks into the season, Ball State's non-conference opponents have a combined 13-3 record with No. 4 Penn State, Wyoming and Army boasting unbeaten records.

After beating Western Illinois in Week 1, Ball State has lost three straight games, most recently a 22-12 defeat against Toledo (2-2) in the Mid-American Conference opener.

Will the Cardinals' losing streak extend to four games or will they hand the Black Knights their first defeat of the season?
