MUNCIE, Ind. — There are a number of reasons why Vic Hall saw joining the Ball State football coaching staff as a “no-brainer,” as he put it Tuesday.
Just take a look at who’s already on staff, in Josh Zidenberg and Tyler Stockton. Zidenberg, the passing game coordinator/defensive backs coach, and Stockton, the defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach, both coached with Hall at Western Illinois. And Zidenberg also played collegiately with Hall at Virginia.
Just take a look at what the move means for Hall’s career. In taking the cornerbacks coach position with the Cardinals, he’s moving up from FCS level at Hampton to the FBS level at BSU.
