MUNCIE, Ind. — Ben Botts’ time with the sport of basketball has taken him from the Midwest to the East Coast and back.
Botts built on a stellar high school career at Muncie Central to go on to play in college at IPFW — now known as Purdue Fort Wayne. He joined the college coaching ranks as a graduate assistant at Xavier before taking the director of basketball operations post at Princeton. And after two years with the Musketeers and one with the Tigers, he’d spend four as an assistant coach at his alma mater ahead of joining BSU coach James Whitford’s staff ahead of the 2018-19 season as an assistant coach.
