MUNCIE, Ind. — It’s been almost two years since Reggie Bass decided to transfer from Muncie Central and continue his high school academic and basketball career elsewhere.
In that time, Bass’ profile as collegiate prospect has continued to rise. In that time, he’s entertained multiple destinations at the next level and decided that he’d commit to play at Illinois. But although time as passed since he played for the Bearcats as a freshman and earned an honorable mention spot on MaxPreps’ 2018-19 Freshman All-American Team, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t appreciate the area where he grew up.
Bass still treasures the relationship he has with Quentin Edmonds-Long, an athlete who’s competed locally for Cowan, and Edmonds-Long’s family.
