MUNCIE, Ind. — In hurdles, everyone in East Central Indiana is chasing Winchester’s Cole Campbell.
The junior starred for Winchester at the Muncie Central boys track and field sectional, where he grabbed victories in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 hurdles. He came close to wins in those same events at the North Central regional, where he finished second in the 110 hurdles and fourth in the 300 hurdles. And at state in the 110 hurdles he placed 17th in the preliminaries.

Without Campbell, Winchester would have placed much lower than fifth as a team in its sectional and would have had no points at all in the regional, where it finished 14th.
