MUNCIE, Ind. — Joey Lynch has been busy in recent months.
The former Ball State football quarterback (2003-06) and assistant coach (2009-19) left BSU to coach in the Mountain West Conference at Colorado State in 2020. He then left Colorado State to coach in the Southeastern Conference at Vanderbilt in 2021, as a quarterbacks coach and pass game coordinator. Amid a pandemic, Lynch and his family have moved around the country.
But Lynch, speaking Friday, said he and his family are doing well. He was able to follow Ball State’s journey toward a Mid-American Conference title this past season, and was excited for all the players and coaches and staffers.
