MUNCIE, Ind. — Joel Godett may have one of the most recognizable voices in Ball State’s athletic department.
He’s the radio voice for Ball State football and basketball, and calls some baseball games and other Cardinals sporting events, too. But how much do you know about the Syracuse graduate? Do you know how he came to be a broadcaster? Godett first started working for the Cardinals in 2012 as the assistant director of broadcast and multimedia services, and since 2015 has been Ball State’s director of broadcasting. But prior to Ball State he’s spent time broadcasting for the Buffalo Bisons in minor league baseball, Fairleigh Dickinson University and others.
