Jillani played in eight games as a true freshman in 2018. He tallied 10 tackles, five of which came in the season finale against Miami (Ohio). Now a sophomore, he entered camp listed as one of two projected starters at defensive end. Defensive coordinator David Elson said he was happy with Jillani’s size, athleticism and performance during spring ball.
