MUNCIE, Ind. — Chris Overholt is in the midst of preparing for what would be his fifth season as the head coach of Delta High School’s football team this fall.
He’s 27-17 overall, with a high of eight wins in a single season his first year at the helm in 2016. He has a sectional title, also in 2016, to go along with a 4-4 record in postseason play. He is hopeful his program will be able to get to work together in July.
Overholt, a former Eagles player himself, took some time with The Star Press this week to discuss preparations for the season amid the situation the COVID-19 pandemic has created, how he became the coach he is today and more.
