MUNCIE, Ind. — Morry Mannies’ voice became legendary over the course of the more than half a century he spent calling Ball State and Muncie-area high school sports.
Through the more than 500 BSU football and 5,000 high school and college basketball games Mannies called, he connected with so many across East Central Indiana and elsewhere. And along the way, the people he became close with enjoyed memorable moments they’ll always keep with them.
Mannies may have died March 5 at the age of 81, but his legacy will endure through those memories.
