IOWA CITY, Iowa – Indiana fell on its face in its most-anticipated opener in half a century Saturday. The No. 17 Hoosiers fell 34-6 to No. 18 Iowa at Nile Kinnick Stadium in an ugly defeat that will likely knock them out of the Top 25 after they entered the season with their first top national ranking since 1968. The margin of defeat matched its 2017 loss to Ohio State for its largest margin in a season opener since 1957.
