INDIANAPOLIS — Ball State (7-4) extended its winning streak to three with an 83-69 victory over Illinois State (5-7) in the Indy Classic.
It was back-and-forth early as Illinois State dominated down low. But the Cardinals tightened up on defense, pulled ahead by seven at halftime and led by double-digits for a majority of the second half, giving them their third straight double-digit victory.
