MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State football coach Mike Neu and a couple of his players Tuesday descended on Detroit for the Mid-American Conference’s football media day along with contingents from the rest of the MAC’s other 11 programs.
The Cardinals open fall camp Aug. 1. They start regular season play Aug. 31 against Indiana in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium. And they kick off MAC action Oct. 5 on the road against Northern Illinois. The event in the Motor City, the location of the MAC championship game Dec. 7, provided a focused chance to look ahead to what may come in 2019.
