MUNCIE, Ind. — Cross country season is underway, with a couple local meets already in the books. There are several more scheduled for the next couple weeks, like the Wapahani Invite, Delaware County meet and Muncie Central Bearcat Invite.
Here are some of the top boys and girls runners to watch for the rest of the season:
Boys
Camden Abernathy, Winchester
Abernathy has been a star for the Golden Falcons throughout his career. Now a senior, he is the top returning runner from last year's Delta Sectional as Wapahani's Nathan and Alex Herbst and Delta's Cade Orchard all graduated.
