MUNCIE, Ind. — The last time Ball State played Bowling Green it left with a 26-point loss, its worse loss of the season, in what was its first Mid-American Conference game of the year.
But Ball State isn't playing the same as it was a month ago. The Cardinals (14-7, 7-4 MAC), who handed the Falcons a 91-80 loss Saturday at Worthen Arena, are on a five-game winning streak and fourth in the league.
During that stretch, the Cardinals have beaten a trio of the conference's best teams in Buffalo, Ohio and Bowling Green, two of which were on the road.
