McLaren boss Zak Brown believes Formula One needs to create a contingency plan following the cancellation of second practice for the Chinese Grand Prix, to avoid similar scenarios in future.
Poor weather conditions in Shanghai disrupted the opening practice session on Friday, with drivers only able to complete a handful of laps, while second practice was eventually abandoned after fog caused visibility issues which meant the circuit's medical helicopter was unable to operate.
When asked how he felt about the lack of running on Friday, Brown replied: "Not good at all, terrible. Now in saying that, any other sport that's outdoors, we've seen Wimbledon.
