The stewards of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix have rejected Williams' request to have Sergey Sirotkin's grid penalty for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix reviewed after unanimously agreeing that no new evidence had come to light.
As well as the grid penalty, Sirotkin was given two superlicence points for his collision with Force India's Sergio Perez on the opening lap of the race in the Baku. He retired soon after when he became involved in a separate incident with McLaren's Fernando Alonso and Renault's Nico Hulkenberg.
Williams made its request for a review on Monday and the FIA organised a teleconference with the stewards, FIA race director Charlie Whiting and Williams sporting director David Redding on Tuesday morning.
