Holden's David Reynolds has bounced back from a forgettable Supercars round to storm back to the podium in Darwin.
The Erebus character was unable to convert his first pole for three years as Scott McLaughlin won his sixth race of the season but it was still a welcome return to form.
By finishing third he made up ground in the championship standings that he lost at Winton in May.
While disappointed to see McLaughlin and Red Bull Holden's Shane van Gisbergen edge past him in the 42-lap race on Saturday, Reynolds was still pleased.
"Winton was pretty dog s**t for us," Reynolds said.
