Holden ace David Reynolds is hopeful he can close the gap to Ford rival Scott McLaughlin in this weekend's Supercars event in New Zealand.
The entire fleet of Commodores in this year's championship have undergone aerodynamic adjustments ahead of the trip to Pukekohe Park Raceway after a request by Holden homologation team Triple Eight.
The Penrite Racing star believes the changes could enable him to halt McLaughlin's dominance with the Ford driver out to eclipse Craig Lowndes' record of 16 wins in a single Supercars season.
"I have won races there before, been on the podium and had pole, so I've gone pretty good in the past," Reynolds said about the Pukekohe circuit.
