  Jeff Gordon has never competed in the Indianapolis 500, but he will turn laps during the 2015 event ... in the pace car.

  Gordon, who is retiring from full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup racing after this season, will drive the pace car prior to the May 24 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
